wordmark

The wordmark should take priority and be used on as many branded assets as possible for things such as external collaborations, adverts, videos, etc.

lippy

As the community we’ve created recognises us, (*ICONIC*) Lippy should be used on internal branded assets. They can be used on any of our own social posts, which are intended for our accounts.

lockup

We are moving away from using the OG lockup as part of the brand refresh, however it can be used within design if there is a lot of space (eg. An A3 poster), or if the extra colour will help bring a photo to life.

colour(s)

foundation.fm is a colourful world.

Most uses are restricted to 2 colour combinations, starting with our primary day and night combos. Both featuring the same red, accompanied with white or black. If unsure where to start with colour, this is a safe bet. For day time talk shows, workshops, events - stick to the day. For club nights, mixes and after parties go for the night.

Beyond that there is a rainbow of colour to be used, again in twos. Feel free to be creative, but some great combinations can be seen paired below.

help

How can I send the logo files to other people or companies?

Please feel free to send the link to these guidelines to anyone that needs to use logos, fonts etc whether it is a company you are collabing with or a designer creating assets.

How strict are these brand guidelines?

We value branding really highly and know that it greatly influences the perception of anyone interacting with foundation - from a follow on insta to a merch collab. Some things might seem strict and specific (sourcing imagery is an example), but it WILL have a positive impact on people if you stick on track with it.

Does this mean that we shoudn't speak to YUCK for design/brainding questions?

Nope! Eventhough we've created this document, if you are ever in doubt please do get in touch with us - we would much rather help than things going arry, even if it is sending us an image to check the aesthetic looks right.

I really can't find any good photos of my guest/DJ that fit with the brand guidelines

If this is the case, we would much rather you use a stock image if you are, for example, posting about the show on instagram, or adding the episode to the website. The website images can be updated at any point, so you could change it for a better pic if you find one at a later date.
